HI vj! where can i find the application receipt/petition no. that i need to write in DS-160? and can i write N/A in the other questions in that form?tnx. godbless

The petition receipt number is on your NOA-1. Ask your petitioner about that. Receipt number is your key to check your I-129F on USCIS website before approval. My fiance forwarded me all of the papers in case I need those. Good luck!

I have no knowledge a lot about US Embassy in Manila. Let other folks from the Philippines answer that part. Good luck!

You do not need ds-160 before scheduling interview but its best to be filled out first

I don't recall there being a section asking for the receipt/petition number. Where did you see that section?

Yes, it does have the section. I recently filled out my DS-160 form and one of those sections ask for receipt number. I don't know if DS-160 form is different from each consulate. I have seen some VJers here mentioned about education history on it, for instance, but when I did my DS-160, there was no section where I'm being ask for that. The receipt number box, I believe on the first page of form.

Well receipt number may make sense if it is referring to the payment receipt number. Thanks

In Indonesia, we don't pay visa fee in advance but instead at same day for the interview date. I had to do my DS-160 before interview for sure because I need showing to them my confirmation letter. That's why I had to filled out the section as well to completed the form.

Also, on next box section it has explanation -with ? mark- for more information regarding about receipt number and the explanation saying the receipt number that has code for instance SRC with 13 alphabets and numerics. Someone can stand corrected me but I put my receipt number of my I-129F on the section.
