TN Visa but working remotely from Canada

I've been offered a 6 month contract converting to permanent in Las Vegas and am getting a TN visa shortly. The arrangement agreed upon with the employer is for me to work remotely from Canada for about 4 months as I sell my house and traveling to Las Vegas as needed. The amount of time spent in Vegas over these 4 months will likely be about a week per month. Is this even possible on a TN visa or would I need to be in Vegas the majority of the time in order to satisfy immigration rules? Thanks for any advice.

No problem with what you propose -- as long as you have TN status before you do your first work in Las Vegas. The problem would be the reverse -- you work in Canada and occasionally in the US and then don't get the TN visa/status for four months (until you're ready to move to the U.S.). That would be working in the U.S. without the proper status. You'll be fine doing it your way.
