The reason I said these are women's perspectives is because all these 'ways' are based on emotions...clearly men have more realistic views of life and not based on emotional excitements manifest in words like 'dream together', 'sprititual commitment', 'model couples' and $hit like that.

All these are female constructs.. because there are no model couples, nothing like spiritual commitment and dreaming together. Fantasy island.

I really like the number one comment about commit to "Till death do you part." My husband and I are in total agreement that "divorce" is not an option...I told him "You are stuck with me baby." Thanks for the list.....also, by the way could someone please tell me how you are able to put the quotes in your email...okay so I am computer illiterate on this matter

Women love deeply when in a marriage and hate deeply once out of it. Clearly all these excited women on here are IN the marriage at this time.

You all need to be calm so that when things go to the dogs you wont be so invested as to get depressed.

Males (normal ones, not the gay) understand actual constructs like:

1.Make me breakfast

2.Watch football with me

3.Help me locate my socks in the morning

stuff like that is more real.

My husband isn't gay he's VERY normal...and he's very thoughtful of me without any hints or nudges. Of course there are no model couples...everyone knows that. But I can truly say we don't live on Fantasy Island either. We live mundane lives just like most everyone else (except for you...still not sure what your purpose is) and we don't have the obvious jaded outlook that you apparently have (whoever you are...that decision is still out).

I make breakfast for my husband...because I want to, not because he's asked me to. He does the same for me.

He doesn't watch football...he watches ice hockey. I watch it with him because I'm as much of a hockey fan as he is.

I help him do whatever he asks me to do...even if it is find his socks. He does the same for me. None of this is based on emotions other than the fact that we love each other in a way you'll never understand.
