My in-laws and DH are doing some "christmas" shopping for family and friends in Morocco, while I get to babysit. :luv:

6/30/07 - Mailed I-751 via Priority Mail with Delivery notification

7/02/07 - Delivered to USCIS in Laguna Niguel,CA

7/07/07 - CSC returns I-751 packet because we used an older I-751 version. Mailed I-751 with latest(02/07) version via Priority Mail with delivery notification

7/09/07 - Deliverd to USCIS

7/10/07 - NOA date

7/12/07 - USCIS cashes check

7/21/07 - NOA received(GC extended for one year)

7/24/07 - Biometrics notice received

8/10/07 - Biometrics appointment in W. LA

8/28/07 - Card production ordered

8/29/07 - Approval notice received online

8/30/07 - Approval notice recieved in mail

9/04/07 - 10 yr GC received in mail

we just got home from a long day, opened presents with dad, bros, and sisters at 2pm....(me and sofyan got some really great stuff, hes really happy) then we headed over to my uncles at 4pm to do dinner and presents with about 75 family members, (gosh my fam just keeps getting bigger and bigger) now were home, all the gifts are put away, and sofyans playing with his new portable dvd player he got...tomorrow were going to my moms side for lunch and gifts, hope its just as much fun as today was...

Maybe you can bring your gel thingy in your check on luggage if you can't bring it in your carryon? At least you could have it when you get there even though you couldn't use it on the plane.

My luggage is 29 inches I think. All I know is that when I brought it on my cruise last year it was labelled "extra large".

Just getting that sucker off my bed strained my back again so I'm taking an ice breather now. lol. I also have a cool carryon that I got from Travelpro. I guess the stewdresses use it and it has so many cool pockets. Had to sit on it to zipper it up though. :blush:

Logged into British Air at 8:30pm sharp and got to pick a window seat with no one in front of me on both legs of the trip. I tried using seatguru.com but the layout on that sight was totally different than the 747's that I'm taking. Oh well...hopefully they'll be ok. There are no seats in front of me but I'm wondering if it's the bathroom or something. Guess I'll soon find out. Now I just have to figure out a way to get online the day before I return so I can get good seats coming back as well. I really hate that they make you wait until the last minute unless you're in first class. Hmmm.......if anyone has tips for getting a free bump up I'm all ears since those sleeping pods would be cool on my back! :thumbs:

Wow 75 family members!!! My ex is italian and that's similar to what Christmas Eve is like at his dad's house. My kids are having a blast since they have about 19 cousins to play with including some fun lil toddlers and babies to hold. :) Hope you have tons of fun tomorrow!!!

The best way to get an upgrade is with mileage..If you don't have enough, then telling the check in counter that you are pregnant will help.. Surmising that the flight is not full or overbooked.

As an aside, and to use an example of my upgrade luck, I was on an international flight once (Lufthansa), where economy was booked, business was empty. Well, I arrived at my economy seat and it was actually wet...ewww...I still wonder why!! After informing the flight purser, they apologized emphatically, then marched me up to a business class seat!!! Life was good!!

Of the 2 million international air travel miles that I have logged, most were direct business class purchases. However, I have been fortunate, in that I have recieved many courtesy upgrades. It can be done, yet creativity helps!!!

In any case, have a safe trip.
