Hi dwheels76, I do have a question regarding the IV package. The birth certificates, marriage certificates, and PCC are sent in original issued country or I do also have to translate into English?

Thanks for your help my friend.....

If you didn't for NVC you don't have to for embassy. They have CO's that read and speak the local language. No problem.

Yeah I think they take up a lot of room too!! I just can't imagine waiting anymore. I have no idea when we will get the interview date. We had case complete on September 30th and have been waiting almost 4 months now with no letter :( All I want is the letter and I will be happy!!! lol :) But of course I will be patient.headbonk.gif

Oh I didn't know it takes a long time to get an interview from Egypt too. I've been only waiting for almost 2 month but it still looks like I'm still gonna be waiting for awhile. I think we have no choice but to be patient ?. I hope we get good news soon!!! Edited by Sleepless_36

Dwheels,

I had a similar question in the previous thread, asking about bringing the original documents to the interview. But here's my other question...I submitted original documents or certified copies for the IV package. The interview letter states to bring photocopies of all civil documents in addition to the 2 passport photos, medical exam results, etc. However, I never made copies of his birth certificate. I have copies of the other documents (since they needed to be translated at the time). They have the certified copy/original copy in the packet they shipped off. Will this be a problem? Does my husband REALLY need photocopies of all the civil documents if they should have all of the originals/certified copies there? Additionally, should he print off the copies of the IV application completed online for the interview?

Just wanted to double check!

When you sent in tyour IV package did you also send photcopies with each original? The reason why they tell you to bring is so they will give back the originald (they will anyway don't leave window until they do. It's not required and okay.

Only if there is an updatet do you need to being in a new DS-260.

When you sent in tyour IV package did you also send photcopies with each original? The reason why they tell you to bring is so they will give back the originald (they will anyway don't leave window until they do. It's not required and okay.

Only if there is an updatet do you need to being in a new DS-260.

No, I didn't send them copies -just the originals. So copies of the civil documents are not required for the interview?

The only reason why we supply them copies is so they have copies and we get originaks back at interview. they don't have to give you back your originals.

No its not required.
