Wow..that was fast.Which service centre you were transferred to?

I got approved on 12/17/2013 and NVC received my file on 01/06/2014 and still wait for case #. Its taking forever.

I would not fall for that NVC would never assign case number in three days.

hello everyone i need your attention and help as for the AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT for CR1 VISA at the NVC stage i am finding a hard time with part 6 SPONSOR'S INCOME AND EMPLOYMENT number 5 my current individual annual income is :is it the one that has wages salaries tips etc attach form W2 or is it the total income on the tax return 1040?

and the same for the tax year with its total income that is in part 6 my total income (adjusted gross income on IRS form 1040EZ......

Current income isn't based off any tax returns. It's what is being made CURRENTLY, right now, as of filing the form.

The question about previous years' income is based on tax information. Whether it's total income or adjusted gross income depends on which tax form was filed.

You'll be fine! NVC typically just looks at the previous year (currently 2012) as well as what's currently being made.

My husband made below the poverty line in the 2nd and 3rd previous years, was barely above in the most recent year, but was way over for the current income. Had no issues!

I have been calling NVC to check whether my I130 approved on 1/14 has been received. Heard from 2 different customer service reps that it has not been received and it may take upto 8 weeks! Really???

For those wondering where they are in the review process, NVC accepted our packet IV on 12/30 and I believe it was reviewed in the past day or so.
