Dears,

Our case was approved on January 3rd. Called NVC today and asked whether our case was received at NVC from USCIS.

The operator informed me that they received the packet at their building on 14th January and when asked about the case number, he said it will take at least 15-20 days to get the case number.

Usually does it take this many days to get the case number, i mean more than a month?

Just curious to know, if I receive both the case number and invoice Id from the NVC operator, what would be the next step that i need to start?

Mine was also approved Jan. 3. Sent out Jan. 6 from NYC. Still haven't gotten it. Where did yours get approved at?

Short update: IV fee appears paid and i've filled in the DS-260 today. :) Just need to send the stuff in now.

I'm the beneficiary.

We were approved on 12/13 NSC shipped the case to NVC on 12/17, the NVC received the case in the building and started putting the information into their computer on 1/13/2014. Out one year wedding anniversary is coming up on 2/28, and we are getting frustrated. Stupid govt workers, I dislike this system immensely. Right now we are praying for a miracle to happen to our case and get the number this week and case complete and interview den before 2/28. Praying that God will open a way for us

Yep I know its so frustrating, our anniversary is coming on feb 5th. There is no way we will be done with interview before that. We are looking at late march or early april interview, if everything goes right.

Just got off the phone with NVC, about my AOS fee. I paid it on JAN 15th using Google Chrome and it is still Processing.

The REP told me that I should have used Internet Explorer.

I personally think it shouldn't make any difference, but any other case like this?

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

We've already filled that one (Choice of Agent)...that was the first thing; the AOS bill appeared after that, and I paid it. I can see the AOS as "PAID," but the IV still shows as $00 and hasn't been invoiced yet, apparently.

I've looked at others' timelines, and I guess it's not unusual to have them appear ready to pay at different times....?

That also happened to me, i thought we could already pay when it showed available or "not paid" but when i clicked on it, it showed no amount. So i called nvc and asked them if it was already showing in their system that i could pay, she said not yet but it would be available in a few. I was able to pay after 2 days lol

08.24.2013 - got married in the Philippines!

09.25.2013 - NOA1 via email

11.18.2013 - requested expedite due to typhoon

12.02.2013 - CFO seminar

12.12.2013 - I-130 approved, NOA2 via email (never transferred); shipped to NVC

12.30.2013 - NVC received the case

01.06.2014 - requested expedite due to typhoon and PCS

01.08.2014 - Case # and IIN; submitted DS-261; NVC asked for 2 contact #s of beneficiary

01.09.2014 - AOS fee billed

01.14.2014 - AOS fee showed paid

01.15.2014 - IV fee billed; expedite approved

01.18.2014 - sent AOS package

01.22.2014 - IV fee showed paid; AOS arrived at NVC as per UPS (10:18am by FNU)

01.24.2014 - sent IV package

01.27.2014 - submitted DS-260; IV docs delivered to NVC as per DHL (10:52am by PETERS G)

01.29.2014 - CASE COMPLETE (via phonecall)

Well I guess, I will find out if it worked or not in couple of days....

I just spoke to an agent at NVC and he told me it looks fine and its still in process, give little bit more time.

We just received notification that TCS has sent our file to the NVC. About how long will it take the NVC to receive it. Our petition was approved last week monday. This is the notice we got today.

I'm trying to call this number but the line is busy for some reason. Is anybody else having this problem ? I have called before around 4 o' clock and it says that they work until midnight so....
