all depends on the scheduling queue, and your place in the scheduling queue, after case complete. There's a review queue, prior, on the IV set . Also a review queue on the AOS, but the two queues run in parallel.

what is the timeframe to complete the case and get the interview date. I know that normally a said it's 30 days to review but what's the actual time

15-20 business days for case complete after the last docs have been received at NVC. If you get a checklist then the clock starts again.

They generally wait till the end of the month(last week) to issue out interview dates. They would be issuing dates to all case completes before JAN 20th

for the month of MARCH the last week of this month (next week). This is based on the pattern that we have seen NVC for the past several months. That being said, there have been a very small number of cases that have not followed this pattern.

In your case you are looking at April interview if there are no issues with your documents.

Good Luck

Our IV invoice still won't show up an amount to be paid. I've already paid the AOS fee....waiting for the next one. I've never been in such a rush to spend money before!

wots up with the DS-261?

wots up with the DS-261?

We've already filled that one (Choice of Agent)...that was the first thing; the AOS bill appeared after that, and I paid it. I can see the AOS as "PAID," but the IV still shows as $00 and hasn't been invoiced yet, apparently.

I've looked at others' timelines, and I guess it's not unusual to have them appear ready to pay at different times....?

IV Fee Bill generation

is

solely dependent on

when the DS-261 is added to the casefile.

Suggest you talk with NVC todayish, ask when the DS-261 was detached and added to the casefile.

Get that date? figure 8 to 12 days after, the IV fee bill shows up.

Dears,

Our case was approved on January 3rd. Called NVC today and asked whether our case was received at NVC from USCIS.

The operator informed me that they received the packet at their building on 14th January and when asked about the case number, he said it will take at least 15-20 days to get the case number.

Usually does it take this many days to get the case number, i mean more than a month?

Just curious to know, if I receive both the case number and invoice Id from the NVC operator, what would be the next step that i need to start?

Thanks all for your help.

John

You were approved 1/3? Well we were approved 12/11. It took them until 1/7 just to recieve it! I'm feeling a bit depressed. I was so happy when we got approved but that excitement is starting to dwindle. :( hope we get our #'s soon.
