I'm pretty sure you can't get transcripts if you didn't file tax returns. Just write in $0.00 for the three years on the form, then include a letter explaining why you didn't file taxes (no income due to stay-at-home wife/mother).

Ok that's what I thought. Thanks so much :)

I'm not sure either of those would work. Can't she just go to her local county courthouse and request a certified copy of her birth certificate? That's what my husband did to get copies of his.

She probably can, I was just wanting to get it mailed in sooner. She said that she actually used the birth verification to get her passport in the first place so that kind of gave me hope that I could use it now. I'll keep my fingers crossed for her to find the Birth Certificate and if she has no luck I'll get her to go to the court house

Thanks :)

How accurate is the example of the AoS here? I thought you weren't supposed to leave fields blank. (o.O)

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

How about 2010 income? I'm assuming below the line as well? How much above the poverty line is he currently?

Technically, with the new I-864 forms, you're supposed to leave things blank if the answer is none or N/A. But, regardless of those instructions, people have still been getting checklists for not writing 'none' or 'N/A', so it might be a good idea to write it in.

My spouse is a Pakistani citizen but has been living in Saudi Arabia since childhood. I undertand that we need to get a police certificate made from Saudi Arabia but I'm not sure how to go about it. Can somebody help me out and let me know what the procedure is to get a police certificate in Saudi Arabia? Thank you!

Called to NVC last Wednesday 15th and they told me our case was just complete that day, so how many time do we have to wait for the proper email or advice that is officially complete and then the interview at Juarez?

Thank you in advance
