First off, the bar-coded cover sheet goes on top of everything else.

If you're submitting tax transcripts, there's no need to submit the entire tax return. The whole point of the tax transcript is to avoid sending in all those pages of the tax return.

And which is the main joint sponsor? They should be submitting an I-864. Their spouse is then submitting an I-864a. And again, no need for tax returns for them either. Just include their W2s to show their own income from the tax transcript.

I have a question, the joint sponsor for my petition is unable to locate her birth certificate, however she does have a County Birth Verification card and an expired passport. Is this sufficient evidence of the sponsor's US citizenship?

I'm not sure either of those would work. Can't she just go to her local county courthouse and request a certified copy of her birth certificate? That's what my husband did to get copies of his.

Question:

I am gathering my information for my AOS, I have not worked for the past three years nor did I file taxes (stay at home wife/mother). Do I have to get transcripts even if I didn't file? And yes, I have a joint sponsor.

I'm pretty sure you can't get transcripts if you didn't file tax returns. Just write in $0.00 for the three years on the form, then include a letter explaining why you didn't file taxes (no income due to stay-at-home wife/mother).
