hello, would like ask about my cr2 son immigrant visa, what was his requirement to submit in his iv package since he is 4 years old yet?...

we are done on AOS bill now and mailing the AOS package to NVC.

wondering if in the iv package,can the original copies just scanned it and print it then submit it to mail in the NVC accepted?

anyones idea is greatly appreciated. thanks ahead.

DS-261 available and submitted.. However when i login to check if the AOS/DS260 fees are Invoiced i get the message:

"This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately."

But i have searched and it seems like it will only be a week before the fees become available and nothing to worry about..

Please go to first two posts and study it hard.

It took us about 2 weeks to get to NVC after we were approved. Then another 3 weeks to get the case number. Then on you will be able to pay the AOS fee and submit choice of agent form. It usually takes 2-4 additional weeks to get IV bill invoice and once thats paid, you submit IV package and fill out DS-260. No one can guess how long the entire process will take because you might get checklist or might not. But if I had to guess, once after you are approved it will take around 3-4 months to finish NVC stage and then move on to Consulate for interview.

Hi pls help. My agency told me to send a single name and married name NBI's to NVC. And another set of it to present during interview. I went to NBI and acquired one married name NBI only. Coz nbi won't allow me to get a single name nbi. I'm so confused....

Sis, nvc wont need a 'single name nbi' since your current nbi (married) already has your maiden name on it.

It scared us, our agency told us we may get a checklist. And it's not easy to get nbi here. I have to be scheduled for an appointment... I was scheduled on April 10 in case we'll be needing another nbi to present during interview. And I already mailed to my husband the civil document yesterday. I only mailed one married name nbi and other docs.

I also went to nbi today but they no longer give out application forms :/ too many people applying for nbi clearance.. I will just submit the one i got last november, and will mail my docs from the Phils. Dont worry your nbi will be fine as long as it has both your married and maiden names.

Our agency told us the reason why I have to get my single name nbi it's coz NVC wants to make sure that I don't have criminal records when I was single. I have nbi I got it last August 2013, is it okay if it's the one I will show for my interview for example I will be scheduled on May or June God willing? I really do hope we won't receive any checklist tho ugh

Yeah they want to make sure thats why they require your maiden name to be in the nbi that u submit to them, but it doesnt mean that you need to get a diff nbi clearance that only has your maiden name... Uhm with regards to your aug2013 nbi, i think if ever they will really ask, they might want an updated one, not from last year.
