Hi Everyone!

Please I need help. I have so much question about this whole NVC processing stuff. My case was shipped to NVC on Dec. 26, 2013. Up until now haven't receive it yet. crying.gif My question is..

1. How long do i have to wait for them to receive it?

2. Will get an email or mail to notify me they receive? Because I hired an atty for my case because i'm afraid I might do it wrong. Then he told me he will receive one but not me!?!? why is that?!?! ranting33va.gif

3. When do i pay the DS-260/261? The IV and AOS fees?

4. When will i send in my Income tax form, the birth certificate, the police clearance and all that..

5. If you can guesstimate? how long this whole thing will take to complete?

Please help me.. Im so lost.. THANK YOU in advance for ALL the help and response..

Please go to first two posts and study it hard.

It took us about 2 weeks to get to NVC after we were approved. Then another 3 weeks to get the case number. Then on you will be able to pay the AOS fee and submit choice of agent form. It usually takes 2-4 additional weeks to get IV bill invoice and once thats paid, you submit IV package and fill out DS-260. No one can guess how long the entire process will take because you might get checklist or might not. But if I had to guess, once after you are approved it will take around 3-4 months to finish NVC stage and then move on to Consulate for interview.

I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet.

Nice! You need an "auto-response" like USCIS has, so that when people ask certain questions, your profile automatically just posts this. OR, you could have it 'auto-respond' twice a day, once in the morning, and once in the evening. LOL.

rofl.gifrofl.gifrofl.gifrofl.gif If only auto-responses work here ;)

Thank you for making my morning :D

Is this Accurate?..3-4 Months? Oh My..this is CRAZY!..I hope it's not that long of a Process.

EP for Guangzhou ? different queue speed on some things, when the EP Maven is working in the backroom. He/She was absent for 5 months and is apparently back.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hello!

Nothing yet... the only email I have received is the one that confirms we're set up for EP. No email yet to state DS-261 and/or fees are invoiced. I check online every day as well to see if anything has changed but I still get the below error message. I noticed recently a few people were getting the info about 2 weeks after their case number was assigned so hopefully next week will be our week! (or even better, this week!)

Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.

Awesome that you got your case number, looks like our times are still pretty dead on!

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

You can always call them and ask them if they have received it from USCIS. Once they receive it in building it takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks to get case #
