-AOS payment by your husband

-I-864 docs mail by your husband to NVC

-IV fee to pay

-IV package sending to NVC (IN THIS PACKAGE MUST BE YOUR POLICE CLEARANCE, BIRTH CERTIFICATE, MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, PHOTOS, COPY OF PASSPORT)

By the way if Police clearance not in English you MUST translate it.

So if all is ready you can send it to your husband now.

Follow what MahVika said about calling, thats the fastest way to find out your case number as for the police clearance, i dont think they will reject ur petition but maybe u will get a checklist from nvc for your IV package, or it could also be that nvc wont mind but the consul who will interview you will not give u the visa unless u submit to the embassy the required document.

Actually im on the same boat :/ im still trying to get a police clearance from amsterdam, and it's taking forever for them to respond..

I am also on the same boat, trying to get my police clearance from London....ohhh its taking forever .Hope i will get it at the end of this month. Thanks to my husband he called many times to police office in London and paid payment for that clearance i just sent an application form and 2 proofs of my address.

I dont have any update with mine, i submitted the application online and hubby also paid and i just got an email that they have forwarded it to the administration for processing. I inquired the other night but didnt get any response. I hope it's really being processed and that it will be delivered to me by next week. Then i still need to have it translated from Dutch to English and i have no idea where or how to do that lol good luck to us, i hope and pray that we get our police clearances soon and that this wont delay our process.

Hello deescaff,

In NVC you will need to find out by calling every day your - Case Number and Invoice Number.

Then you go here:

https://ceac.state.gov/iv/

And fill the DS-261 Choise of Agent and appoint your husband.

For that you will need:

1. Select one of the following roles that best describes your relationship to the case: Principal Applicant, Attorney, Petitioner, or Third-party Agent.
2. Enter the NVC case number located in the instructions that you received from the National Visa Center (NVC).
3. Enter the NVC Invoice ID Number provided to you by the NVC. The information is located in the NVC instructions you received. If your case was not handled by the NVC (because the petition was filed at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate overseas), you will not have an NVC Invoice ID number. Enter the principal applicant’s date of birth in YYYYMMDD format instead.
4. Click on the Sign In Button.

After that your husband will get email to pay AOS fee.

Short status update: DS-261 became available for me today and i filled it in.

I got my case number on Jan 3 too but by calling. I didn't receive the actual email with them until yesterday. I hope I can do the DS-261 soon:(

I am in the same boat. I received my NOA 2 on December 13 from Texas SC and still no update on the website. It seems like the time in between all of these hoops we have to jump through keep getting longer. Maybe I just miss my wife so damn much.

I received my noa2 on dec 16 from tsc too..jan 9,2014 was shipped to nvc..it took almost 4weeks to shipped the approval petition to nvc:(

I have a question regarding the medical - when is the earliest that the medical can be scheduled? From what I am reading, it states that the interview will not be scheduled until the embassy receives the medical examination results, but I can't find anything that states when the medical can be scheduled.

1. Principal applicant is the beneficiary. He/she is the one applying for the visa. You are the petitioner.

2. Yep, NVC case number and Invoice ID number.
