Yay, Ill take that honor!!! As far as the embassy, Kinshasa isnt an option for some reason. ranting33va.gif It gives me Armenia as a default. crying.gif Ive tried contacting the administrator to add Kinshasa, DRC, but have not received any response.ClockWatch2.gif I am certain there is an American Embassy in Kinshasa because I visited there when I was in Congo in March 2013. Maybe you know who to talk to to get it fixed!!! idea9dv.gif And thanks for adding me to the list. Well on the timeline it says beneficiary's country. Or where will the interview take place. And its only countries you can selected. So just change to Congo if thats the country where interview will take place.

Well on the timeline it says beneficiary's country. Or where will the interview take place. And its only countries you can selected. So just change to Congo if thats the country where interview will take place.

It doesnt give that option either, and I know for a certainty that they do that there because I met with the consular. They just need to update their list! :)

hi,

yesterday it was working fine and now today when I log into https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx I get a message saying

Application Error:You have encountered an application error. Please try again later.

why am I getting this message?

I believe they're doing maintenance. When i try to log in into the Payments portal i get the message "The system will be down for maintenance from approximately 5:00 AM until 5:00 PM US Eastern Daylight Time on June 08, 2013. You will not be able to access this site during that time. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience."

Naturally they forgot to update the date in the notification. Lol. Kind of like when people enable out of office reply but forget to update the return date.

LOL I'm getting that same message. I had a little chuckle when I saw JUNE of 2013!! haha, well that's a long time to do maintenance!

Hey all, just poking my head in here... I received NOA2 from CSC on Jan. 7, now I'm biding my time until I can start hounding NVC. My paperwork for this stage is already close to complete, so I'm hoping the NVC outlook is a little less grim than USCIS was!

04/07/2016 - NOA1

04/13/2016 - Check cashed

04/14/2016 - NOA1 hardcopy

05/04/2016 - Received biometric notice

05/16/2016 - Biometrics appointment

I called NVC again today and finally got a case #. Thank God! NVC received our case last Dec. 16. Since then I've been calling NVC once a week but this week I was doing it everyday since its almost a month w/out a case# eventhough all the rep from NVC keep saying it might take another 2 wks and said I should call back the end of the month to check.. So for those still waiting for case#, just keep calling. :)

08.24.2013 - got married in the Philippines!

09.25.2013 - NOA1 via email

11.18.2013 - requested expedite due to typhoon

12.02.2013 - CFO seminar

12.12.2013 - I-130 approved, NOA2 via email (never transferred); shipped to NVC

12.30.2013 - NVC received the case

01.06.2014 - requested expedite due to typhoon and PCS

01.08.2014 - Case # and IIN; submitted DS-261; NVC asked for 2 contact #s of beneficiary

01.09.2014 - AOS fee billed

01.14.2014 - AOS fee showed paid

01.15.2014 - IV fee billed; expedite approved

01.18.2014 - sent AOS package

01.22.2014 - IV fee showed paid; AOS arrived at NVC as per UPS (10:18am by FNU)

01.24.2014 - sent IV package

01.27.2014 - submitted DS-260; IV docs delivered to NVC as per DHL (10:52am by PETERS G)
