December 21, 2011 - Got Married in the Philippines

December 21, 2012 - Went back in the Philippines for first anniversary.

USCIS

June 11, 2013 - I-130 sent

June 17, 2013 - NOA1

November 21, 2013 - Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center

December 5, 2013 - I-130 approved via email

December 9, 2013 - receive hard copy of NOA2

receive email that case was shipped to NVC

January 6, 2014 - NVC received the case ( no case number yet )

January 29, 2014 - Receive case number, invoice and beneficiary ID number

February 7, 2014 - DS261 available online and submitted

February 10, 2014 - received an email regarding AOS processing fee bill invoice

February 10, 2014 - was able to pay AOS online

Februay 12, 2014 - AOS showed PAID on line/ AOS package sent ( one day delivery)

February 13, 2014 - NVC received the package

February 18, 2014 - AOS was entered in the system

February 24, 2014 - received an email to pay IV fee, paid IV fee, IV fee in process

February 27, 2014 - DS-260 available online, completed and filed up. IV package sent (one day delivery)

February 28, 2014 - IV package received at the "dock"

March 4, 2014 - IV package was entered to the system

March 7, 2014 - Received a checklist for AOS (GGGGRRRRRR!!!!)

March 10, 2014 - Respond to the checklist ( sent package via UPS)

March 11, 2014 - Package received @ the dock

March 19, 2014 - IV package and DS260 approved (via phone call)

March 27, 2014 - Case Completed ( called NVC 2X just to make sure, now waiting to be forwarded to Manila Embassy Yehey!!!)

Called NVC today to check to see if I had a case # yet and the lady seemed exasperated and it was only 7:30a! poor people. She said no number yet, but that I really should allow about 30-40 days now because they were off half the week last wee due to snow storms. :-(

Lets hope for no more snow storms for New Hampshire, otherwise things are gonna slow to a crawl!....a SLOWER crawl.

I got approved on December 10th and case shipped to NVC on December 31st (maybe they walked it from Texas to New Hampshire rofl.gif ) Now, I am just hoping that NVC receives it quickly and puts it in the system quickly.

When I called the NVC, they said that it could take up to 8 weeks ohmy.png for them to receive it and generate a case number wacko.png

Hey, we're very close in timelines. It took TSC 4 weeks to mail mine out. Ours were mailed out together it seems on 12/31 so if you get any info. please share and I will too!

2/14/2010: Married

2/19/2013: I-130 Sent

3/15/2013: NOA1

11/1/2013: Transferred to TSC

12/4/2013: NOA2

12/31/2013: I-130 shipped to NVC

1/8/2014: NVC received I-130

2/11/2014: Case # & IIN received

Is the NVC open today? My case was approved on 12/23, and I got a notification from NSC that it was shipped out to NVC on 12/27, it's been two weeks now, they should have received it by now right?

It's been a week since I got the case number. I called NVC today and they told me to wait one more week and then they will send me the email to fill out the DS-261. Does it really take this long after getting the case number?

You can send the OPTIN email if you are doing EP and put the case number on your pdf files (or documents and forms if you arent doing EP.)

It's not even been a full business week since it was mailed out! Remember, January 1st was a federal holiday. NVC then were closed on Thursday and Friday due to snowstorms. So, even if your case made it to NVC before 1/1, they've not been opened since then.

It's been a week since I got the case number. I called NVC today and they told me to wait one more week and then they will send me the email to fill out the DS-261. Does it really take this long after getting the case number?

Have you actually tried logging into the online forms portal? Don't rely on correspondence...

Got email that AOS Fee 'Payment Status' changed from 'in process' to 'PAID' . Now how long it will take to generate IV fees invoice ? sad.png

The IV invoice HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE AOS.

Figure 4.5 weeks from DS-261 submittal date, given the current queues.
