Ohh, that's not what we refer to as the Enroll email. The Enroll email is for those eligible for EP who send an email to opt-in to the program. What you sent is just an email to get email correspondence from NVC. Which could have been done over the phone and would have been an instant. By sending an email, it'll take them a few days to get to it.

I suggest you re-read posts 1 and 2, as this is covered there.

Thanks Saylin for explaining the difference between enroll for email communication from NVC and ENROLL for electronic processing opt-in. It is a pity Electronic Processing Opti-in is not available for India :-(

I submitted choice of agent DS-261 form online today

I'm sure within a few years, EP will be available to all. Remember, at first, online forms (DS-261 and DS-260) were just available for a few select countries. Now it's required by all. Progress!

There's a link in post 2 of screenshots. It's not a hard copy though; you won't be able to fill it out. But you can look at it and see what information you'll need to gather ahead of time.

So what else can I do? Should I keep calling USCIS? Or NVC to see if they have trasnferred the case already????? What else can you suggest to get this petition going? We've waited a year and 3 months to get to this part of the process. And I can't wait any longer!

No. Certified copies are copies from the issuing agency. This is not the same as simple photocopies (notarized or not). If you submit what you have, you'll get a checklist.

It takes a few weeks.

What did you write in the 13a1 spots? 0 or nothing or "was not required to file"

Depending on what you wrote here depends on why they sent you the checklist. You can call back and ask for a supervisor review on the I-864 or ask what they feel is appropriate for those spaces.

I wrote nothing in the blank. I called the NVC and they told me to write in 0.00 (if I didn't file). I thought when I was filling it out, if I write in 0.00, they might think that I actually filed taxes with no income. Thus didn't write it in. What do you think I should do?

Not yet, are you calling them everyday or every other day? I got my around a month later, you need to take in to consideration the holidays and stuff the NVC was closed. Should be getting it within a week or so. Keep calling.
