Am I the only one still waiting for case complete on this thread? :/ it seems like everybody moved on to case complete thread... While others just starting the process... Well good luck for everybody!

Hello peepz.. NVC receive my file on January the 6th, I called last night and they dont have a case number for me. Any body got a case number with this date aleady I just wanna compare.

NVC received my cases (stepson and wife) on January 6th as well, just got off the phone with them a moment ago and I have both my case numbers! I was told to wait about a week and a half to get information on the next step, they took my email and updated my phone number dancin5hr.gif

Hopefully we'll get ours tomorrow.

AOS fees 88$ paid,IV fees PAID, now there is link display to fill DS-260 form but did't send AOS and IV package still. can we send AOS and IV packager after filling DS-260 form ?

It doesn't matter what you do first, second, or third. As long as NVC gets both packages and receives a DS-260, that's all that matters; the order doesn't.

had some free time moments ago, called up and got a human at DoS. Whilst waiting firstly, listened to the voice announcement that as of 27th DoS no longer handle inquires for immigrant visa cases.

Got a human on the phone, and gave her a Darnell interrogatory.

She was defensively clueless, stating that this function was switched over to NVC. Will call NVC tonight and give em the Darnell Interrogatory and see what's up. I'm betting NO SERCO CONTRACTORS have access to the Consular Casefile Processing System.

Hmm. It just doesn't make sense to me for folks to call up NVC, instead of DOS, if they're done with the NVC process and their case has moved onto the embassy/consulate, since NVC would theoretically not have access to their case anymore. Hence DOS's [former] position. For folks with embassies/consulates with no available phone number to ask questions, DOS was available (instead of having to wait for a reply by email, as many embassies/consulates are notoriously slow to respond).
