Question: Interview dates are handled by country case basis, right? I just saw someone get an interview date for NOV, and am freaking out a little. I swear I saw someone who just got an interview date for Canada and it was in April.

Whats NOV? You mean November or is that a country? And are you sure its not K1. Cuz Canada hasn't started scheduling yet (I would know trust me).

Can we submit the iv package if it shows up in the bank account and the status in the website is still in the process? Is it ok? Thank you in advance!

Can't be because you have to include the barcoded cover sheet for IV package.

July 21 - received my green card (wrong expiration date and combined first and middle name, filed for I-90-correction) Aug 08 - applied for a state ID Sep 05 - biometrics appointment  Oct 09 - received my state ID Nov 03 - post decision activity (I-90 application) Nov 07 - card/document production (need to wait for 30 days for my new green card) Nov 10 - received the new green card (2 months & 5 days)

Document Cover Sheets:

If you are required to submit physical civil and financial documents you must include the appropriate bar-coded cover sheet to identify the documents as belonging to your case.

If you received an applicant document processing instruction packet or a petitioner instruction packet from the National Visa Center (NVC) it contains a cover sheet which may be photocopied.

I think she already has the barcoded cover sheet since she already paid the IV fee. What she was asking is if they can go ahead and send the docs to nvc if the payment is already showing in the bank account but still in process in ceac.

"Members have had luck sending the packages as soon as they pay the bills (since the bar-coded cover sheet becomes available after paying). If you're not going to wait for it to appear as PAID in the portal, at least wait until the money has cleared the bank account." - from Saylin's FAQs :)

Thank you! Still waiting for the status becomes paid and ds260 to be available online after that maybe we can mail the iv package already.

If you are required to submit physical civil and financial documents you must include the appropriate bar-coded cover sheet to identify the documents as belonging to your case.

Question:

For ds260, what name did you use for mother's name? Married or maiden? And did you also include your parent's' middle name after their given names? Thanks! :)

09.25.2013 - NOA1 via email

11.18.2013 - requested expedite due to typhoon

12.02.2013 - CFO seminar

12.12.2013 - I-130 approved, NOA2 via email (never transferred); shipped to NVC

12.30.2013 - NVC received the case

01.06.2014 - requested expedite due to typhoon and PCS

01.08.2014 - Case # and IIN; submitted DS-261; NVC asked for 2 contact #s of beneficiary

01.09.2014 - AOS fee billed

01.14.2014 - AOS fee showed paid

01.15.2014 - IV fee billed; expedite approved

01.18.2014 - sent AOS package

01.22.2014 - IV fee showed paid; AOS arrived at NVC as per UPS (10:18am by FNU)

01.24.2014 - sent IV package

01.27.2014 - submitted DS-260; IV docs delivered to NVC as per DHL (10:52am by PETERS G)

01.29.2014 - CASE COMPLETE (via phonecall)

01.30.2014 - received checklist for Dutch Police Record (VOG) via email

01.31.2014 - left NVC, sent to embassy

02.04.2014 - received at embassy, READY as per CEAC

02.10-11.2014 - medical done, passed!

02.24.2014 - interview: APPROVED!!

02.27.2014 - Received SMS from 2Go, ready for pick up

02.28.2014 - visa on hand; CFO sticker

03.01.2014 - paid ELIS

03.06.2014 - POE Hawaii...Aloooohaaa! :)

04.10.2014 - 2yr green card received

STILL waiting for a case number here... I am trying not to get confused with all the info above until we get that sacred number and then can move forwards again!

USCIS (239 days):

04.18.2013 - NOA1

12.13.2013 - NOA2 via email; I-130 approved. Shipped to NVC

NVC (274 days):

12.30.2013 - Arrived at NVC

01.27.2014 - Received case no. & IIN

02.07.2014 - Completed & submitted DS-261 form online

02.13.2014 - Paid AOS bill

02.18.2014 - AOS showing as 'paid'

03.18.2014 - Invoiced for IV bill (finally!)

03.19.2014 - Made payment for IV bill

03.21.2014 - IV bill showing PAID

03.24.2014 - Completed DS-260 online

03.29.2014 - Mailed IV Packet

04.26.2014 - IV packet all approved, false checklist from NVC for AOS packet

05.07.2014 - AOS packet sent

06.12.2014 - AOS packet scanned in (took them THAT LONG to do it)

07.29.2014 - Received checklist via email

07.30.2014 - Sent re-filled AOS form, as per checklist instructions

09.24.2014 - Case Complete (FINALLY)

09.30.2014 - Case leaves NVC
