reply back if'n yer using a handphone web browser to study the NVC doc intake process.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I called NVC today, and I was told they gave us a case complete on 1/22/14, but didn't receive any email notification. She stated its in line to get an interview set up. Anyone know how quickly I should expect an interview date for Bosnia?

Bosnia isn't eligible for EP. You can see for yourself here (listed in post 1): http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit/how-to-submit-documents-to-the-nvc.html

Nope, you will have to mail the civil documents and the affadavit of support application and paperwork that goes along with it. Bosnia isn't a country that does electronic processing yet. You will have to fill out some paperwork online, but the rest of it will have to be physically mailed. Hope that helps. :)

Have you read post 1 and 2?

Once the invoices show up as paid, print off the bar coded document cover page and mail the documents to the NVC. smile.png

Very exciting to be near the end isn't it? Have you looked at Saylins description of the Montreal Consulate? She has some photos about where to line up and some drawn pictures of the inside. smile.png

Hi, no, we haven't yet. I'm hoping we will this coming week.

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

Hey all, I am just looking over the forms I am going to be filling out once I am in the NVC stage, and I know the DS-230 has been replaced by an online form, but I'd imagine it contains close to the same info, so I was wondering how I should explain a situation in a certain question: it states:

Have you ever been refused admission to the United States at a port of entry? (If yes, explain)

Well this has happened to my wife, last year in May we were crossing the border from Mexico to US (texas) and they held her for about 7 hours and took her tourist visa from her and denied entry to the US, so.... I don't know how exactly to explain this in a short manner on the form, any ideas?

Thanks
