I called yesterday afternoon! They took our email addresses and game the two numbers.

i am wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to submit an expedite request at the NVC stage as for CR1 visa and whether this expedite request would slow down the process or cause problems to the case ?

I would not fall for that NVC would never assign case number in three days.

I don't know if he is expediting because it show he filed in October, but my case has been moving fast also. And I'm not expediting.

Dec 17th - NOA2 Approved.

Jan 6th - I called NVC and REP told me they received that day.

Jan 8th - I received an email with my case number and IID for both. Also, another email that AOS Payment was available. Paid same day and filled DS261. Documents sent a few days later.

Jan 15th - I received another email that DS230 was available to pay. Paid the same day, and document sent a few days after because I was waiting to be translated.

Just waiting for case complete and interview date, and this is more stressful than USCIS.

NOTE: I only can open the site with the petitioner Id, but everything has been paid, filled, and documents sent.

I'm hoping all of us get completed soon because this wait destroys the most patient human being.

Can the transcripts be downloaded in PDF format from the IRS "Get Transcript Online", instead of printing and have to scan the transcript print out into a PDF for EP.

Please let me know.

30 May 2014: Called NVC spoke with supervisor. The supervisor could not open the 2013 Transcripts we've sent in our AOS package on April21, because it was downloaded from IRS site. He said it was password protected.

We scanned the transcript and sent it to the supervisor at nvcinquiry@state.gov.

The supervisor was kind enough to wait on the phone and confirm that he has received our email with scanned transcripts attachments.

Supervisor asked another 3 weeks to review our cases.

01 Jun 2014: We sent 2 separate emails (one case # for each parent ) "Response to Checklist" to nvcelectronic@state.gov complete with all the attachments scanned into pdf.

04 Jun 2014 : Case Complete for both parents! ?

25 Jun 2014 : Medical done

22 Jul 2014 : Montreal interview. Approved! ?

09Sep2014 : Entry at Niagara-Buffalo Peace Bridge Officer also requested Green Card and SSN. We have received the Green Cards but we never received SIN. We requested the SIN cards again in November at Local Office and receiver the cards in one week.

are you using any pdf print driver, like cutepdf ? i'd install that, and some other pdf tools, since yer at NVC processing stage.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

you could certainly try. best to call in, get a supervisor, and ask for it.

typically - processing STOPS after the IV Unit has noticed NVC that the IV Unit will allow the expedite,

so wherever you are in the process on that day, it all stops.

Best time to ask for expedite is when IIN number is first known.

Each case is different, each 'stage stop' is different, so you might (for example) pay fees and submit I-864, civil docs into the IV Unit on interview day.

Regardless, the IV Unit will not schedule you until they receive the casefile from NVC, and usually scheduling is still 30 days OUT from casefile received, so plan accordingly.

i dont think USCIS site will inform you if your case is passed to NVC. My case status says i got approved on Dec 17th and its the same status since then.

I have noticed that TSC will update the status,however CSC and NSC won't.

Yeah, our file was with CSC, we never had any update from them after the NOA2.

I'm the beneficiary.

Got my case number today finally, yay!

So I sent the OPT IN email, and I can't do anything else until I get my invoice for the bill, and until they let me into the portal to submit the DS 261, right?

Also, at what point do I submit all the stuff the Montreal guide had me prep before hand? IE: my husbands birth certificate.

My husband called yesterday at the NVC and finally we got our case number. He asked for the Invoice number as well but the person at NVC told him we can't use it until we get an update from them.

We called our laywer and the paralegal just told us to wait for the NVC. How long does it normally take after we get the case number to finally go to the next step?

NVC received our case last Dec. 24 but they told us they just started processing it in January 21.

Call back... Some operators don't like to give numbers, others will do it. :)

Agree with Darnell here. Adobe will automatically install a PDF print drive and Foxit does as well. Look on your list of "printers"
