Happy New Year to all VJ member,

I have filed my ROC since May 5 ,2013 Please see my time line below

05/09/13 ROC Package Sent to VSC

05/13/13 got the letter with receipt number

06/13/13 Finger print appointment

09/18/13 Case was transferred to CSC

11/04/13 Change of address

nothing since then

Should I contact the CSC to follow up with my case because it has been already over their time line. Could you please advise the example letter to email and follow up my case? I am a little worry now that it takes longer than 6 months and I haven't heard anything back from them.

Thank you in advance ,

Pastina

You cant contact CSC directly to ask.

You can make an Info Pass appointment so you can ask USCIS in person.

Or call USCIS and speak with a Tier 2 officer. I didn't see you note that so I am assuming you didn't. Seems like for the majority, a Tier 2 service request does speed up the process once you have fallen out of the necessary wait period. It started things rolling for me when nothing has happened for the 60 days I had wait on my RFE to be responded to.

Good luck!

ROC Journey:

4/24/13 - Submitted I-751 application

4/26/13 - I-751 officially filed

6/11/13 - Biometrics done

8/14/13 - Rec'd RFE

9/21/13 - Submitted RFE response

9/23/13 - RFE response rec'd at VSC

(about 2 months later)

11/21/13 - Service request via Tier 1 submitted

12/11/13 - Response to service request rec'd - vague info about processing times

12/12/13 - Service request via Tier 2 submitted

12/10/13 - APPROVED!!! (letter rec'd 12/14/13)

12/16/13 - 2nd Service request response rec'd

12/17/13 - Card production email/text rec'd (online case updated)!

12/24/13 - Notification rec'd via email regarding card mailed on 12/23/13 (online case updated as well)

12/26/13 - 10-yr card rec'd!

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.

Thank you everyone .. I finally got a chance to call USCIS office. After they look through my file, The officer has written the email requested CSC to take an action on my case since it has been longer than normal process time. He gave me the reference number in case I have to follow up. The email that he sent was saying " Please process or send the card to .... immidiately if there is no other document required " I was told it would take 1-3 weeks and I didn't get my card yet , feel free to call USCIS with the reference number to follow up. dancin5hr.gif

I filed ROC back in May. My case was transferred to CSC in Sep. as well.

I have just received approval letter from Atlanta field office, although I have not received CSC-Atlanta transfer notice.

It is possible that your case has been transferred to your local office (with no transfer notice) according to my experience!

USCIS system still indicates that my case is at CSC and it is under "initial review".

Hang in there
