Hi everyone

I am filling the i-485 form and I have a question. I received a citation last year for an invalid ticket on the train. I paid the fine and pled no contest. I went to obtain my records for the citation from the court and it shows I was given a guilty conviction, the court took $100 out of the fine and sent me back $75. So to summarize, I got a citation for an invalid ticket on a train and paid the fine.

My question is: does this qualify as a traffic violation also? The fine was processed by the traffic court.

What I am intending to do is to mark 'No' in the section where it inquires for past arrests, citations, convictions excluding traffic violations..BUT I will attach my records from the court showing the citation for the invalid ticket, fine payments and an explanation on what happened. Is that right?

I will really appreciate any help on this issue. It's been bugging me for days. Thank you very much in advance and happy new year!
