Happy new year in advance to all....

In January is the interview of my fiancee and I am required to take a filled form I-134, I am waiting if the USCIS update a new form or new validity date since the current is only valid until December 31, 2013. Should I wait for new form or can I take this one?

Thanks for your answers.

You should be ok. According to the USCIS website they accept previous editions anyway. There is another discussion about this here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/472489-i-134-form-expires-on-12312013/. Our interview is Jan 30th, and we are using the current form.

It is not about the expiration date, It is the edition date that matters Although in this case, it doesn't matter either because previous editions are accepted.

http://www.uscis.gov/i-134

Edition Date

12/17/12. Previous editions accepted.

Thank you for your answers...

Now while filling the Form I-134 I got with another matter that worries most.

In the part 1, incise b, specifies that if US Citizenship by parent or marriage, give Certificate of Citizenship number...

In my case I was born overseas but after my birth I was registered at the embassy, got a Birth Certificate and a form FS-240 which is the Report of Birth Abroad, I never had problems with those papers, even I have my passport and registered as voter.

My father, in that case, was a US Citizen, born in the States from US parents....

Is really necessary to get Certificate of Citizenship? And have a number? How it will affect in the interview with my fiancee?

Thanks again.

You already provided proof of being a USC with the I-129F petition.

Next to this line, "b. If a U.S. citizen through parent(s) or marriage, give Certificate of Citizenship number" you can put 'None' or 'US Passport #xxxxxx' or both even, since you have no certificate.
