Hi everyone,

I got a letter for a citizenship interview at the end of january.

I was wondering what to expect? what to bring with? how to prepare? I got a booklet with about 100 questions, i only need to know the answers, but i dont have to be 100% familiar with the history behind the answers, right ?

and one last question, if accepted, is there any other interviews? is the oath on the same day as the interview?

Thank you everyone for your time and help.

If you applied based on marriage, take some bills, bank statements, photos just in case the officer wants to see additional proof. You need to know only the answers for the questions. Once you are approved, you will be scheduled for oath, depending on your office you either have same day oath or you will be scheduled for a future date. Good luck.

Thank you, do u think taking my son and wife with would be a good idea, and yes it is based on marriage.

don't take your son as the wait could be long and he might get bored. You can take your wife (I'm taking my wife with me on Thursday) so the officer can see that your marriage is legit. Thats a sign of support.

May Allah protect your son and your family and good luck in your interview,.
