What happens if you send it to Lewisville, TX? That's the address they provide if its express mail. I'm uncertain which address to use. Does it matter?

If you are instructed to send the EXPRESS mail to Louisville then I would send it there.

I did in a just plain Manila envelope, requested tracking and cost around $3.75..... Regards

Plain manila envelope could be a HUGE mistake. The postal workers, electronic readers all look for the white postal envelopes and THEY ARE FREE!! Why buy a minila envelope and have it get passed over? USPS is designed to use there envelopes. So maybe you can save ten bucks...is it worth it? Spend the lousy 10 or 15 bucks and use the USPS envelope. This is of course my humble opinion.

If you send it through USPS you can send it to the Dallas address. The Lewisville address is for couriers such as Fedex, UPS, and other express couriers. These companies cannot deliver to a PO Box. Priority mail is plenty fast. Express mail costs way more and might get there one day sooner, if not the same time.

Yes and one day sooner means you should be together one day sooner. Is that worth 10 bucks to you? It sure was to me. And the Postal employees really keep an eye out for the express envelo[pes and they undoubtedly get put at the top of the pile. Ten bucks man.....it's worth it!

Some people want to save 5 bucks here, ten bucks here. So maybe I spent an extra 100 bucks on everything being over cautious. ! I made extra copies and big friggin deal I spent a little more money. Was it worth it? Absofrickinlutley! My wife and I flew from Manila to Hawaii 8 months after I filed the first documents. Pretty good time for a CR-1 VISA.

One person was answering the OP's question by explaining the options and the differences between the two, so that they could make an educated decision. Another person, for some odd reason, somehow took offense and then rambled on about making copies, which had absolutely nothing to do with the their question. The OP was obviously concerned about price because they specifically asked about the cost.
