Hi Guys,

Is it correct that on the DS-160 form for the K visa should state non immigrant? It's thrown me because I followed the link from the page the embassy sent me to complete the form, which I submitted a couple of weeks ago, however only just noticed that it states non immigrant . I thought it was an immigrant visa? Have I completed the wrong form?

All confused and hope someone can help.

Hope you all had a fab Christmas

Thanks

Claire

Yes, K-1 visa is non-immigrant visa but at US consulates they treated it like an immigrant visa since K-1 visa is a dual intent visa.

Great thanks so much, you don't have any idea how I can change my postal address with the embassy in London do you?

Unfortunately I don't have knowledge about US embassy in London regarding the procedures.

If you need to change your address. You can call the consulate directly, it is mentioned at the bottom of your packet 3, or should be atleast. But yes, if you call the consulate or better yet email them, with your Case number on the Subject line, just tell them you need to make a change of address, shouldnt be an issue. As for the DS 160 online, My fiancee and I just filled that out about a week ago. I am pretty sure it was under immigrant visa even though its a non immigrant petition.

London doesn't accept phone calls about visas. If you get somebody, they won't be of help. They want you to use the contact form http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html

Are you saying you moved after submitting the form DS-160? If that form has the correct address, then that is sufficient.
