I-129F, current form expires 12/31/06

The current Form I-129F (Rev. 05/23/06) States at the top of page one and the instructions that it Expires 12/31/06.

Anyone have an idea if a revised form will have to be used if you file in early 2007? And if so, when will it be available to download?

When you are ready to file, just make sure you go to USCIS website and download the latest forms. The online version of the form indeed expires 12/31/2006 but that is the lastest available form so you won't go wrong using it. On the other hand, if you don't intend to file until January 2007 they may or may not update this form, so just download it when you are ready to actually fill it out and file.

That is the date that USCIS has to make suggest any changes to the form to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), not when the form will no longer be accepted, it is not the expiration date of the form just the date that suggestion period expires.

USCIS will continue using that form until they decide to make changes.

See the date at the top of form I-864 for example, it expired 11/01/06, they are still using it.
