Is it normal to not hear anything regarding the AOS application? I mean, I got the combo card. But I was assuming by now I would hear an RFE or a schedule for the AOS interview, but there's still no changes. I've seen some who has close NOA dates with mine and they already have a schedule for their interview.

AOS NOA date is October 10 .Biometrics was done November 5.

K1 Visa Timeline

  • xx-xx-2005 - Met in an online creative writing forum for anime (Yes, we are nerds. Awesome ones, at that.) Became friends ever since and chatted mostly on YM. Our characters' names were Kumi and Drake.
  • 11-20-2011 - We became a couple.
  • 05-16-2012 to 05-25-2012 - First visit
  • 11-08-2012 - NOA1
  • 12-11-2012 to 12-18-2012 - Second visit
  • 05-08-2013 - NOA2
  • 06-13-2013 to 06-14-2013 - Two-day medical exam; passed!
  • 07-19-2013 - He visits again to be with me for the interview
  • 07-22-2013 - Interview date / APPROVED!
  • 08-01-2013 - Seattle POE
  • 08-02-2013 - Arrived in MO.
  • 09-01-2013 - Married!

It routinely takes up to a year to successfully adjust from a K visa.

You will eventually either receive a letter for an interview appointment or an interview waiver. If you get a waiver it can take a further six months before the actual approval. Those who have an interview scheduled generally get their green card approval faster.

No reason to worry, you are still within standard processing schedules. It can take as quick as 2 months to 1 year. The process takes longer for those determined to be interview waiver cases. In my case, it took 1 day after EAD card production for my status to change to "interview and testing" but it took 63 days before I got my interview schedule on hand and 78 days after biometrics. Others have been waiting even longer.

That is normal. I got my interview waiver case letter in Sept. I was told to follow up after 6 months. All of a sudden, I got another letter that it was approved then after a week my GC arrived. :-)

Thank you very much for the replies! Not hearing from them kinda just makes me worried that something's wrong. I will wait a couple more months to hear from them then.

It has not even been 3 months since you filed. After biometrics, you wait more. You wait to receive an interview, or you wait to be approved without an interview. Those that get approved without an interview wait longer. Some have waited 8+ months. Check the timeline threads in the Progress forum.
