There was a case very similar to yours, but they were in a South American country, if I recall correctly, and they managed to get approved. So, there is hope. :)

RFE help line? Receipt#?

I just received an RFE that says my G325a was not properly completed and I need to re-submitt. There are no details as to what exactly is incomplete. Am I supposed to read their minds? I called 800 375 5283 and the computer says to punch 2 if you have questions. After that is says to enter my receipt number. My receipt number starts with SRC and ten digits. When I enter the ten digits it says "not enough digits" and then hangs up on me. I hope you wonderful folks have a solution for this and thanks very much.

I haven't tried calling the USCIS. my fiance does that (he's in the US). how many times have you tried calling? Our receipt numbers consisting of three initial letters then followed by the ten numbers. Try dialing again and again. entering the ten numbers in your receipts.

thanks friend, When your fiance calls USCIS is he able to speak with a person? My receipt number is like yours, three letters and ten numbers. Then the computer say not enough numbers and hangs up. I have tried about six times but will keep trying. I am in Texas and my lady is in Thailand and I am trying to bring her here for marriage. I am wondering if any forum members have actually been able to speak to a person when calling USCIS. thanks and the best of luck to you

Perhaps try entering the number equivalent of the letters? For example, SRC = 772 and then the 10 digits. That is just a guess but I have seen stranger things happen. :). Good luck.

thanks friends for the help. perhaps i did forget the pound key. it also says if you do not know your receipt number then press 2. so i tried that and actually got a live person on the phone. so i gave him my receipt number and lo and behold he found my case. so i got back to the root of problem which was the rfe did not explain what the problem was with the g325a and i asked to speak with the officer that sent me the rfe. i was told oh no you cannot speak to that officer you must make a appointment to go the the USCIS office or seek legal help. this would be laughable if it was not such a serious endeavor. so i keep trying so that the love of my life can join me in the USA.

I had this problem as well but figured out how to do it...... You input the SRC first which would be 772 then your 10 digit case number.

It will look like this 772_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

So as I was assembling all the copied forms into a package for my fiance', I realized that on the supplement page I had to make for my employment over the last 5 years on the G-325A, I didn't include the address for the very last place listed. I just put the name & was planning to find the address & fill it in before I printed & mailed it off with everything. I totally forgot! Has anyone gotten an RFE for this?

Also, my fiancé put June of 2014 as an end date for one of his two jobs he's currently employed at on his G-325A. I also didn't catch this until it was too late. Man, I thought I had triple checked everything but I guess I had just been staring at it all for too long! Any RFEs for something like this before? I'm currently searching through this post but there's 93 pages

No clue on what you specifically asked, but do bear in mind that this thread was started a long while back and some of the things that people get RFEs for now don't necessarily match what used to happen a few years ago. Hope your stuff isn't an issue, though!

I didn't go back very far because I knew the further I went, the more outdated the information would be and more likely it was to be incorrect. I was basically asking if anyone knew of a RFE for not putting the address for one of the previous places of employment on the G-325A or one for putting a future date as the "end date" for one of the employers.

Hi guys.

Made a slight error in not including my fiancee's proof of US citizenship. She has lost her birth certificate so we are opting to send a copy of every page of her passport (as requested).

My question is whether these copies need to be colour or just black & white?

Sorry if this is stated elsewhere and is obvious, but we have no internet at present so I'm doing this off my phone and it's incredibly hard to navigate the site.

Thanks

Mark

Now you've made me think, I really don't recall writing down my (beneficiary) employment details on the G-325A form. And now I'm wondering if we wrote his. We double checked all our forms before sending them....panicking.
