As for photos when we took pictures we weren't really thinking about k1 stuff. Only one is time stamped on front. I wrote for the rest the info on the back. We have pictures of Las Vegas together which match the hotel receipt. We include various hotel receipts even when I picked him up and returned him to the airport. We have a print out of his flight itinerary from both visits as well as lease and that he was added to my bank account. Is this sufficient?

Your timeline says you should hear from them in the second half of April. VSC is working pretty well at the moment so the wait shouldn't be long now. And after then I don't know. It's said the review of RFE takes approximately 30 days, but if you look at Igor's list it sometimes happens faster. Good luck!

Oh and if you know exactly what you failed to attach, you can fill out the forms and make copies ahead of time not to waste it when a notice arrives ;-)

After re-reading the I-129F instructions I realize I made tiny mistakes... my passport style photos weren't glossy, they were printed on printer paper and put in baggies. Also, I didn't make a copy of the back side of my birth certificate (considering its... blank...) or our son's... I included around 80 pictures of us together and with our families and with our (now 6 month old) son. Should I expect a RFE based on not sending in the blank backside of my birth certificate and for printing our passport style photos on printer paper? Those seem like silly things to get dinged on but... never know!

I don't think it's easy to get approved for this visa unless you have met in person within 2 years of the filing date. Is there a very strong reason for you not to have met?

The process of proving you've met in the last two years is so frustrating. The receipts are especially so. We saved a whole bunch of 'em, to document being in each others' home countries, but when we started copying them for our application we were horrified to realize that none of them actually had our names on them!!! Whether that's the bank's doing or the individual businesses' I don't know, but what we thought was really good evidence turned out to be useless.

All I did to prove it was my working visas/entry/exit stamps to Mongolia, my flight itinerary, and a picture of me with my fiancee, her brothers, and her son. I might have thrown in a copy of my Mongolian driver's license, I don't remember. I didn't include any receipts or anything of the like, but I got NOA2 without any RFE.

Have I messed up? I sent my I-129F in mid January. I recieve mo Noai 2 weeks later. I found our pictures together in my car 1 week after I mailed my 129F. The pictures had fallen out of my shipping packet. I went ahead and sent my pictures to Vermont service center with letter explaining my mistake. I never got confirmation of VSC getting our pictures. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I receive an RFE via email and text yesterday April 18, and again today April 19. anyone of you experienced the same? Did they mail it twice? Will it be a problem?
