No, don't take it From them, let then do it. The lawyers know d best.

While it would be wonderful is this statement were always true, sadly, it isn't. VJ is full of people who have been delayed by lawyers not knowing the procedures.

Don't open the packet that says "DO NOT OPEN" when your Visa Arrives:

taken from a post I just made to a member, Sue me I'm lazy but you all get the idea :)

Congratz!!!

But I wish to give you advice that you may or not know, when the visa arrives and your excitement is at its peak please remember there is a packet that says "DO NOT OPEN" this is meant for customs at your POE and if you happen to open it "YOU MUST" return to manilla us Embassy and visit Immigrant Visa services Window 17 between the hours of 1:00pm and 3:30pm Monday through Friday. you will not need an appointment nor is there a fee for this but It can be avoided just with a little warning. I am typing this as my Betrothed sits in NAIA waiting on her flight back to Dumaguete and figured I would try and educate those who do not know about this packet and remedying the unintentional opening.

Safe Journeys and Blessings,

I'm truly sorry to hear about it. I know how painful is to be apart from the loved one! I really hope and pray you hear your NOA2 very soon, I'm sure you will.

By the way do you mind if I ask what was your RFE for?

All the best

I received RFE last Saturday and hastely read the letter without paying proper attention to all the requests. I was asked to do three things which are answer the "Yes or No' question related to conviction in I-129F form, provide proof of meeting within two years before filing and Divorve degree. I only answered the question on the form and returned the form back to USCIS-CSC the same day. Uopn return back home in the evening, I read the copy of the letter again and discovered that I needed to submit the other documents. On monday morning I sent another complete parkage, certified mail, to then again. On Tuesday, I got a text and email that my document was received and is under review. I believe they are referring to the document I mailed on Saturday. I track the other mail on USPS online site and it was confirmed delivered on Wednesday. USCIS has not update their site or text me that another package was received from me. My question is being that the letter stated that all documents must be sent at the same time, would that lead into deny of my I-129 F application or make the processing time longer than expected? I called USCIS TIER 2 and explained what happened. I was advised to call back in two weeks if there is no case update for my application and sending the document in two package wont make no difference as long as is within the allowable time stipulated on their request letter.

Ok, Pennsylvania only has 1 form of a birth certificate, so that is what I sent. That's good I assume?

Also, for evidence:

1. A Rental Agreement we are both listed on and signed (translated into English)

2. Passport stamps showing we were together leaving Peru, going to Ecuador, and entering Mexico... although I didn't include the whole passport. Just the stamps.

3. Photos, me with her family, her with my family... my son with her... and us getting baptized...

Is this sufficient evidence?
