Thanks, Twocats.

I'm USA citizen, filing for K-1, I-129F, for colombiana again.

Different person.

Everythings clean.

She should have no problems.

Not a young girl, but a lady (at least by age).

Her sister introduced us.

No marriage brokerage or agency stuff, here.

Someone has told me that you now have to file a G-325B form.

A) Is that required?

B) If so, is it in regards to me (the one filing initially), or in regards to her (the one I'm filing for)?

C) If so, is the second page to be filled out by me? or, by 'the Authorities'?

I've read all through everything on the USCIS.gov site the past week and it does not currently say

anything about filing this form G-325B.

Secondly, I see, even on the USCIS website a few nights ago, there is conflict of information in regards to current cost of filing the I-129F. One page says $340.00 (us), another page says $350.00 (us). When I filed in June of 2007, it was about $180.00 and I thought it went up the next month to $450! A year and a half ago, someone who helps with the visas in Colombia said, ... $450.00.

I'm completely and pleasantly surprised, of course, if it's come down to the $350 range.

Anyone just filed know the correct answer?

I've got yet just one more concern, but I'll have to check the details, to ensure that I properly state my question. Thanks for anyone who can help.

I paid $340 and that was about 2 weeks ago.

Hello,

I got question, when you need to send in more evidence that you have met within the past 2 years, and you gonna send flight tickets...do you send the originals or make a copy of the old flight ticketS? Thanks for any input ;)

Send photocopies....the originals are impotant..keep it as ur records.....bring it during the inteview.....otherwise,you will only show the originals ....that is base on my experience....and if they are going to get it you can have a request to get it back if the original is important....Do not bring like an album of pics, you only need tp prove that u guys met pesonally and spent some special times together...In my experience I brought all the originals and showed it to them ..They took like 3 pics of us from me...I asked other fiancees there being interviewed and they said that they explained the evidences that they brought with them including money reciepts, pics and others..You don't need to be nervous when u face the consular,as long as u know ur fiancee and u memorize the day when u met and where..and watch out!! They will ask u about ur fiancee's name(petitioner's name) again and again which was funny for me ... I even had a mistake answering about the year when we met...supposed to be March 2010, and I answered March 2009..hehehehe....lucky me that the consular interviewed me was very nice and he just smiled at it...Goodluck!

Hello There!

Please, i need help here... I was told that it is better to submit the I129F packet via installment basis (1-2 forms at a time) and wait for RFEs than submit everything altogether. Is it true? Im not sure about this coz personally i think it's absurd but that's the advice given to us by our paralegal who is helping us put together all the requirements. Please, anybody who can help me decide on this, i need your help, please.

Thanks so much in advance!

To put as nicely as I can, I think your paralegal is full of #######.

Each time that you get an RFE, it slows down your case processing by at least 2-3 weeks.

Send the entire packet together, with all supporting evidence and all forms required.

And consider firing your paralegal. :bonk:

I think the only time this *might* be advisable is if you are able to file the entire petition but you're lacking one form, piece of evidence, or some thing that will delay the initial filing by several months (NOT like a divorce certificate or some other proof that would invalidate your petition in the first place!). In that rare case, getting your petition in line right away at the USCIS (with the 5 - 6 month wait) might be worth the 2-3 week delay of an RFE later on.

But really don't file in installments! What good would that do??

If you keep up with the online status updates, you might find out first through that service. Even if you don't check it or it doesn't update, the USC receives the RFE in the mail with instructions about how to respond.
