I'm curious to know if the Packet 3 will be asking for the same information that was sent in with the RFE? I'm reading throughout the forums. Some people have different requests and are stating they are asking for same info.....passport pictures, copies of birth certificates, proof of getting married.

Ok, this is what i read from someone else post here...

Because another poster had the same questions who was preparing all the stuff he/she sent with their initial If29F

OK. All you need is what they tell you on the original document that you are e-mailed for packet 3.

  • DS-160
  • I-134
  • DSL-1076 - Applicant's statement of readiness, the checklist and your supporting documents

The DS-160 has replaced the DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157 and DS-230 forms so you don't need any of those.

You don't need to send any proof of your relationship with packet 3, this was already sent with your I-129F submission and they have this at your interview. You actually don't need to bring anything to the interview except for your interview confirmation page, passport and receipt of payment for the interview. I took the cautious approach though and took updated photos, wedding invites etc but none of it was needed. I would rather be prepared for anything though so if I was you I'd probably take some along just in case.

Can you upload the letter that was sent to her? Just hide all the private info.

To me it doesn't make sense, but maybe there are others here on the forum that might know what that is about.

We got the RFE finally in mail today. So, they request the court dispositions of his conviction which is alreaday sealed because he won the appeal, We only sent the appeal with the petition. Is there a way to get the dispositions? My fiance doesn't want to send the whole case or all copies. Did anyone experience the same? Is there an easy way to get these?

Thanks!

we received an RFE after 6 months of waiting :(

The RFE states "PROOF OF INTENT TO MARRY. You must submit evidence that you and the beneficiary intend to marry within 90 days of the beneficiary's entry to the United States as a K-1. Evidence may include, but not limited to, copies od the correspondence between you and the beneficiary discussing wedding plans, evidence of wedding plans such as announcements, plans mdd to reserve a venue for the wedding, or any other evidence of your intent to marry one another, including, for example (UNDERLINED: an original statement from the beneficiary establishing his or her intent to marry you within 90 days of his or her admission to the United States.) "

I mistakenly submitted a letter for myself and not for my fiancé.

Does anyone know if re-submitting just letters of intent to marry for myself and my fiancé will be enough for this RFE or I need to include plans for the wedding and venue as well. We haven't made any such plans yet since we are not sure when the Visa will be approved.

Please help. Thank you.
