Pls members, am a k1 visa beneficiary. Am in Nigeria and I just filled and submitted my DS160 form online, is there any other form I have to submit? Pls how do I schedule my interview? Does US consulate in Lagos Nigeria have to send me appointment letter or do I have to schedule it online? It's been a month now I submitted my DS160 form and I haven't heard from the consulate and my application will be expiring on February 14th.

You ought to ve scheduled ya AP immediately afta u completed ya ds-160. Pay #39600 at any GT.bank and schedule ya AP online, dnt forget to print the confirmation page.

Thanks Wprecision. Pls how do I book appointment for my medicals.....do I have to download any form or go straight to the listed clinic and book appointment?

You dnt need to schedule an AP, the xray and test r done in a day and u will get the result 4/5 dayz after. The prices differ, btw 21-31k

Thanks for the info @ Wprecision. I just paid the visa fee today but when I tried booking appointment online, I found out that the first available AP is march 26b, but my application will expire February 14. What do I do to get a closer date before the expiry date?

email the embassy askin for an xtention it will be granted. But u cld book ya AP right away aswell.

I am in the same stage with you. I just got my case number and hoping to go pay my fee tomorrow. Do you need your case number to pay the visa fee?

Pls how much is the fee for the K1 visa. I am at the bank now and don't know. I was told is 39,000 how true is that?
