NVC Case number

I just got NVC case number and the invoice id via email, so what will be next step for me? what i have to do before i receive mail from them?

thats all u need (case and invoice ID) to make payment

there should be a link on the email to make payment,

btw how did u get that email, because normally u would get a mail

You can both do it but choose the petitioner as the choice of agent if you don't have an attorney and just put both of your email addresses for the updates.

How long after your NOA 2, did U get the NVC Case Number and the invoice ID via email?

We have our NOA 2 date Dec.13.2013, but still haven't heard anything from the NVC yet!

We got our NOA 2 dated on Dec.13.2013, and received the hardcopy within a week, stating our case was approved, and the case has been sent to the NVC already.

It has been more than 2 weeks, but we haven't really heard anything from the NVC yet, regarding the Case Number and further proceedings...

Any Help/Info/Update on that?

You should all be hassling the NVC via telephone at least weekly for your case and invoice numbers. Don't wait around for them to mail it to you or you could be waiting a lot longer than you should be.

You must include the following information to receive a case specific response:

• Your NVC Case Number or USCIS receipt number
• The applicant’s name and date of birth and the petitioner’s name and date of birth

Im on the same boat. case was transferred to NVC on Dec 5th, No luck yet.. Im really hoping they will give me a case number and all the numbers I will need early next year.. Im crossing my fingers tight.

Thanks all for your replies. But my concern is that it I hasn't been a month yet, as per the instructions on the NOA 2, to call NVC after 30days. So am I free to call the NVC, even if it hasn't been 30days?!

We haven't even received a mail from the NVC, that they have received our case, uptil now. Don't u guys thinks that the delay is probably because of the Holiday season?

U should call nvc and check if they have received ur case already..u dont have to wait for 30 days before calling. Actually u can start calling as often as u like a week after u have been approved. They will tell u it may take 8 weeks but of course, u dont have to believe that. U should still call every week.
