I have my case number since the 12 ..I was told that even if I send the ds-230 I still won't get and interview date until the nvc send the case to the embassy

yes that's correct!

I sent my DS230 to the embassy while my case was still at NVC.they said an interview will be schedule when they receive the I129F from NVC and the completed DS230.when they had receive my case i had to resend the DS230 in order for them to schedule my interview.sending the DS230 before they receive the I129F is kind of a waste of time if you have to re-send it again in order for them to acknowledge it.

Seems u people arnt understanding what am saying ...for I never said anything about getting a visa or being approve..... I said its still at nvc , not that its at embassy

there's a pinned topic in the NVC forum - have a look ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

You are not in AP at NVC level for a K-1. You have your KNG number??? Start working on your paperwork to get interview scheduled, and your other documents. NVC is only supposed to issue your KNG number and then forward your files to Kingston. This is ridiculous, why lie!

She isn't lying. We were in AP at NVC on our K1 for 57 days. Times are less than that now, but it does happen.

OP there are a couple of threads in the NVC forum you can have a look at.

I went through K1 petition before it does take some time about 6months maybe longer may be shorter it depends on case load you're just in first stage right??...

you just receive your case number right???....next will come the approval notice of your K1 petition about 2-3 months!!....then will come paperwork to prepare you for the interview.....about 4 months after you get approved from the K1 petition

Best wishes to you and your Fiance`.....

Kind Regards!!!!

I am not from New Zealand, but was living there. I found out at the interview, and from the FOIA request that it was random. They take a percentage out of the queue for extra scrutiny, at random.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

ok so did you get your visa?

I did. Been here for nearly 5 years now. If you look at my profile.... < to the left , it shows Removing Conditions approved. You can check out the timelines as well to show you where people are in the process, and when they completed the various parts of it.

So I got my case number December 12 and from then on every time I call nvc they keep telling me my case is in administrative processing, and they can't tell me when it will be complete like seriously, its 17 days now and still nothing ...anyone having and issue like this ,u feedback will be greatly appreciated

OP, have a look here http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/stats.php?cfl=

average time for K-1 NVC is 27 days. And remember that is average and we are going through a holiday period. You are no where near late yet. Give it another 10 days, then start emailing NVC. This is a long process. If you treat it like a sprint rather then a marathon, you'll make yourself crazy.

I found email much more effective then calling.

I had been living and working for nearly 18 years in New Zealand, on a Permanent Residents Visa. My interview was in Auckland NZ, as that was my place of residence at the time. No they were not hard on me because of it.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
