This is what the current I-129F instructions say:

"3. Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is "none", leave the space blank."

From Pg 2, http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

Always refer back to the current instructions from USCIS as the processes and requirements do change over time.

As stated, follow the instructions for the form you are filling. I have used "None" & "N/A" interchangeably with no problems, but as someone posted the rules do change. Always follow current instructions.

The current instructions were published June of this year. Most of use filed before that date. So I guess we are obsolete. rolleyes.gif

I suspect with the shift to more online forms they may be getting away from the idea of filling ever space.

DO NOT send two forms

But leave it blank or no? I am sending tomorrow

You already asked this question in another thread and were answered. Why are you creating another post to ask the same thing again? http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/472405-i-129f-problem/

You will not get an RFE for leaving things blank. The instructions tell you to leave things blank. Also, the example form here on VJ does show to leave blanks, just like the instructions state to do > http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-129F.pdf

The I-129F forms from the USCIS state to leave them blank. I would follow their instructions when filling out one of their forms > http://www.uscis.gov...i-129finstr.pdf

How To Fill Out Form I-129F

1. Type or print legibly in black ink.

2. If extra space is needed to complete any item, attach a continuation sheet, write your name and Alien Registration

Number (A-Number) (if any), at the top of each sheet of paper, indicate the Part and Item Number to which your

answer refers, and date and sign each sheet.

3. Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is “none,” leave the space blank.

You got different answers because the rules changed 6 months ago. Most of us filed under the old rules and "assumed" incorrectly that the same rules applied to the new forms.

As we have posted several times now. The new 129 instructions effective mid 2013 state: Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is “none,” leave the space blank

That is what you should do with the 129.

You have a long road ahead of you and many forms to fill out. Always make sure you are using the most current version of the form and read the attached instructions. Use caution when using the guides and sample forms here on VJ. Some of them have not been updated to reflect the new rules and forms. If you have questions ask.

People have directed you to the instructions on the USCIS website now over and over, so please actually read them. They are all that matter, and they clearly state to leave it BLANK.
