If you are already having such issue and want to pursue your K1, you might face issues in the future.

WHAT MIGHT happen, not saying it will:

1. when you arrive in US, he does not want to marry you, you need to return and if you do not have money for the air ticket. you will overstay and probably get 3 years/10 years or probably life time ban from entering U.S.

2. if he marries you, can you take it for him to cheat on your for your entire lifetime? He probably keeps you as slave/maid at home or something. or even abuse.

3. what if he keeps your green card. what if he doesn't file your AOS. You will be out of status

A successful interview is NOT the ultimate goal.... A happy marriage IS the goal... So don't get confused that success is the K1 ... Success is a good relationship... If you do not have a healthy relationship (which is sounds like you do not) you will fail (even if you succeed in the visa) ... Don't get it twisted...

When someone shows you who they really are, believe them.

He wants another woman to soothe himself with when there are problems. A mature man who is in love will do all he can to focus

on working on his relationship and not look for an external "soother" , another woman, like some kind of pacifier.

He needs to grow the heck up. Not ready for marriage !

I went through a similar situation, and all I can say, especially after I got expert advice, is...,,.,.,RUN, RUN, RUN.,.,.,., as fast as you can to get away from this situation, yes it will hurt, BUT I assure it will hurt """FAR WORSE""" if you go through with the interview.,.,.,.,.and get ready for the ""pity party"" he is going to hit you with, like he is sorry, and so on!

HE HAS SHOWN WHO HE IS<>>><<>><><<>< RRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!

Just my opinion! And some from experience.,.,.,.,.

I think coming over on a K1 will be a disaster for one thing.

Secondly how old are you folks?

lol I suppose you thought they were much younger huh? Hate stereotypes.

But I agree, it would be a disaster and you guys need to split. This is exactly how my ex started to act before he actually cheated on me....the first time. But waited til the second time to "be sorry" and beg me to stay. Which I didn't because I'm smart. I hope you will be smart too.

I am so glad i find this forum.

I am so confused and don’t know what to do.

My fiancé and I are together for a little bit more than 2 years. We met online.

Problems started after the first timewe met. He try to date another woman and send her flirtatious messages on facebook. I forgave him but trust was broken. He tried but sometimes he fell down and it was harder. It was hard for him to understand how much pain that can cause. Anyway, we are near our interview and through the holidays we’ve been having rough times. Bad fights. He was acting so distant and careless that I insult him several times, he insulted me too. Then I told him that I didn’t love him anymore in the middle of my anger. After that we kept talking like if we were togeteher, sending picures and stuff and we were planning our interview and his upcoming trip for it. All of a sudden he start texting with another woman in a flirtatious way and told her that our relationship was bad and that It was going to be over soon.

NEWS FOR ME

What do you think of this? I am hurt. This is the second time. I wonder if he ever loved me.

I know my faults and I have been always more brave than him to be honest. I know I shouldn’t have insulted him but there was never any intention on my side to put a third person in the middle.

Seems to me there's no reason to continue on with the interview at this time.

November 14th, 2013: She's here!

December 12th, 2013: Picked up marriage license.

You need to ditch him but I expect you already knew that. He didn't learn from his first mistake at all and doesn't care how you feel about it. Telling other women that he's in a bad relationship to get sympathy/ flirty texts or more is a really low thing to do and shows a huge lack of respect for you. I'm sorry but it would be a really bad mistake for you to start a new life with him when he has shown these character traits.

What part of no don't you understand? Because his actions clearly speak for itself, saying I don't give a damn about your feelings, I don't care about our relationship, I am a serial cheater etc...

My dear don't believe everything you hear from him, but in what you see, he proved already the kind of scumbag he is, what are you waiting to kick him to the curb?.Our time is limited, so don't waste it living his life, because he is the one running the show.

Leave the guy. Moving your whole life for a new start in a foreign country is difficult enough, and that's when you have the full support of your spouse. He has proven he can't be trusted and you will be completely reliant on him. Like someone else said, a successful K1 visa interview isn't the end goal. You will have to marry this man and build a life with him without your family and friends being close by, and there is still a lot more paper work/hurdles after arriving in the US that you will need his support for. You need his help to file AOS or you'll have no status, and you'll need his support (emotionally, even if nothing else) to get set up as it's his country, not yours. You won't even be able to work at first and will be relying on him for money, food, everything. He will not give you the support or love you deserve. It is a huge life change and going into it with a man who is not committed to you is heading for disaster. Get out.
