Phil got his hand slapped by A&E, the family apologized and he is back. Everyone is making money and life continues as usual. Phil had his 15 minutes of fame, and is being heralded as a martyr by the motley crew.

Although Robertson never apologized for his comments, his family did say they regretted his "coarse language," which included graphic descriptions of male and female anatomy.

If you look at it from his point of view, he was as adamant about being right about the gay stuff as he was in his comments about blacks.

Whereas the less-aware may agree with his point in homosexuality, you would he hard pressed to find anyone with the most basic knowledge of the history of our country who might agree with his rant about blacks.
