aos for child

hi everyone

My wifes aos has been filed and transfered to California, my question is this , her 3 year old boy was listed on ,129f and then on i-485 , he came into the country after my wife, his i-94 expires jan 07-07. Ive been told that i have to send in the i-485 for him also, but there should be no fee for him ,because he would be a rider on her aos petition ,because he is listed on all documents? do i need to send fee along with his i-485 ? and how much is it for a child?

Yes....he needs his own AOS application....with a fee and supporting documents.

It is $225.00 for a child under 14
