I have my visa interview in Montreal January 15th. I am currently in the USA with my fiancé and still need to do my medical. How close to the interview can I schedule my medical. I do have one scheduled for the 6th of January. All I really want to do is reschedule it to the 7th but I just don't know if that's enough time for the doctor to send me the files and papers I need for my interview. Also, I made my appointment for the interview a few months ago and the receptionist told me I needed four shots prior to the medical. I know two of them were the flu shot and the chicken pox, but I cannot remember the other two. TD shot maybe? And does anyone know if I can get them all in one day?

I believe within a month is usually recommended for the medical, so you should be fine. How long the results take varies from office to office. I know the one in Montreal requires three full days to return the medical. I would just call the office where you're having your medical and verify that you'll have your paperwork in time for interview.

Usually for the TB test, it's required 2-3 days for the result to come up as it takes sometime for your body to react with the chemical. For other tests, it's possible for you to get the result the same day. Therefore, I would suggest you to do it about 4 days before the interview.
