They need to get some additional staff. I think the typhoon caused many additional expedited interviews but a seven month wait for an interview is not proper. Lets hope for the best as we are waiting to book an interview also.

They only open the Schedule about two months out so it is natural for you not to see any appointments for Apr - Dec 2014. They should be opening some more appoints soon but you will need to check each day. Also, some who are scheduled will cancel and that will open a slot but it usually goes fast. So you will have to monitor 2-3 times a day to see if anything opens up.

Right now there is such a back log of "expedited" interviews that "regular folks" such as yourself, are finding it hard to schedule an appointment.

Keep checking. Good luck.

Question

Lets say you grab the soonest date offered. Then upon checking regularly can you amend your interview to

the sooner date. I suppose you will be required to cancel the later date first and then reschedule to the more

current date -- of course you risk loosing on both dates if some one slides in before you book.

It sounds like you cannot reschedule from what I am reading

You can reschedule twice without penalty. And yes you need to cancel your current interview date before you can reschedule.
