Who says that I can't? Fact is I have. Many times. You still haven't gotten it, that's your issue.

Fact is that Obama - 5 years into his presidency - has already surpassed his predecessor's job creation record over two terms. And there's certainly more to come. You can deny it all you want but this economy is on the way up and there are more people working today than there were when he took over. Markets are up, confidence is up, hiring is up, GDP is up and the eceonomic outlook for 2014 is rather sweet. Then again, you live in a parallel universe so you can't reflect on the reality that the rest of us live in.

Long term unemployment is up to 3.9 million, an increase of 1.2 million since he took office. Total fed debt is up 63%. Public debt is up 95%. Gas price is up 80%. Home ownership is down 2.4%. Food stamp recipients are up 48%.

Stats are fun, eh? And meaningful, when you include more than just the ones that suit your purpose.

It is not certain yet that this is the end, which is why I have not commented on it so far. The market is due for a bounce, soon. What the bounce looks like will shape my opinion if this is the end or it has a little more to go first.

Yes, bounce up for a short while, although I would not be surprised to see the S&P come close to 1600 at some point this month.

Well, so far we have gotten the bounce I was expecting, from 1740 when it was written to almost 1800 today. BUT! Don't hold your breath. Now is test time - go above 1810 and you're good. Turn back down which is what I think will happen and we will have a nice little meeting with 1600.

So, while I did personally expect a meeting with 1600, I stayed true to my systems and said above 1810 you're good. The result? It went as high as 1883. Now, test time again! As long as it stays above 1830 it's still good. A break of 1830 will make me seriously look into 'is this really finally the end?'
