It is stunning that you can't name any meaningful thing, Obama has done lately to get this country moving.

If he put half the effort into getting people back to work... as he did to put gays in the military, we would see families out of poverty and into the work force.

The truth is, he has no idea, nor do the rest of the academics gathered around him up there and people are suffering because of it.

Fact is that Obama - 5 years into his presidency - has already surpassed his predecessor's job creation record over two terms. And there's certainly more to come. You can deny it all you want but this economy is on the way up and there are more people working today than there were when he took over. Markets are up, confidence is up, hiring is up, GDP is up and the eceonomic outlook for 2014 is rather sweet. Then again, you live in a parallel universe so you can't reflect on the reality that the rest of us live in.

Can you mention any of the economic indicators on which you are making your prediction? It would allow a more fruitful debate here.

No, Danno. What the economy has done over the last 5 years already beats what the economy has done over the entire two terms of the last President. The DJIA has actually reached a new high - adjusted for inflation. That's the first time that happened in 14 years. So we're no longer treading water but actually start gaining. Something Obama's predecessor never achieved. Ever.
