I'm currently on a F-1 student visa and just married a US citizen.

I have a question regarding the I-131 form.

My parents are getting old and who knows what's going to happen to them in my home country while I'm waiting for my green card to get processed.

So I wanted to send the I-131 form along with other documents.

Do I have to fill out the intended trip date in Part 3 and the reason for travel in Part 4?

I haven't set any date... I just wanted to visit them after I receive an approval. This doesn't fit any of the educational, employment, or humanitarian purposes described in the instruction.

Give me some ideas, please!

Thanks for your help!

After you print out your I-131, hand-write Unknown for date and length of trip.

No explanation of why you want/need AP is needed when filed with a pending I-485.

After #1-4 of Part 3, you skip to Part 7. It states that on the form itself > 'If you are applying for a non-DACA related Advance Parole Document, skip to Part 7'
