Hi everyone this is my first post. I hope someone can enlighten us. We are getting frustrated now as it has been 13 working days but my fiance hasnt received his visa yet. He was interviewed at USEM Manila on Dec 11 and we were told he was approved, took his passport and told to wait for visa. As per checking timelines of people who got interviewed on December they all got their visas and or have issued status on ceac. My fiance's ceac status is stuck on ready for interview since day 1. But everyday the status updated date changes and when we call to check they always say its processing. Who else has this situation? Hope someone can enlighten us. We are already getting a bit worried.

what news from calling the DoS Hotline? ceac status is sometimes wonky,

but DoS Hotline knows the real status.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thank you for your replies! What is tge number for DOS? I also called USEM this morning and they said it's still processing.

Mrs S, Were you given a 221g before? I hope you'll get your visa soon. I have read that when it goes to AP next will be ISSUED. Also, did your ready status say ready for interview or ready open case?

Gelene, yes got 221g. I was asked to submit my passport and new medical November 8. It was received by USEM on November 12.CEAC changed to Ready November 22, ready for interview.

I hope we both get our status updated to Issued and get the visa before end of month.
