You know a better really interesting questions would be to see how many veterans are now liberals in comparison to conservatives. Historically the military service member voting block runs at about 60% republican vs 40% non-republican. It will be interesting to see if that changes given the fiasco which is Iraq and failed system in Afganishtan--who is looking for Bin Laden--apparently noboby. Of course the kid glove response to Al Qada from Clinton, and the Les Aspin--Black Hawk debacle left a bad taste for Democrats in the mouth of many. But 79 dead troops in Iraq this month--three deaths a day in a war to end WMD that never existed.
