Welcome to the forums! Remember that English-only is to be used outside the regional forums, so that everyone can read and understand messages. It's great that you and the respondent provided complete translations, however.

You can post solely in Spanish to your heart's content in the "Mexico, Latin & South America" regional forum.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hey everybody!.

In advance I apologize for my english.

Recently my fiance and I were looking at the k1 Visa guide and we have some questions, i met her online as a part of a english module for my college in Colombia in 2010, curiosly she was learning spanish as well, she has always had a fascination with the Spanish. So a few months later we started dating, due to different circumstances it has been a little difficult to go there to visit her. I apply 3 times for a tourist visa en Bogota and it was denied for different reasons like my age, money etc. So in this year we traveled to mexico to see each other, it was soo special, needless to say how much we want to be together after all this time, all we have right now as evidence it's photos, flight tickets, restaurant receipts, cine tickets and packages that she sent me and I sent her during this time. besides skype logs, call logs from a call service MagicJack. Right now we are plannig her trip to Colombia in march 2014, one of our questions is should we wait for her trip to Colombia or we can send the request as soon as possible. We would appreciate any suggestions about what evidence we can send to USCIS

Thank you so much for all your help.

We really appreciate it.

HI and welcome to VJ. If you have already met in person, you can submit your petition now. Primary evidence of your meeting would be the boarding passes, passport stamps, maybe receipts that show you both were in the same location. Does not matter where you originally met, meaning as long as the two of you met in person, your meeting in Mexico is just fine. Please note that plane tickets are not sufficient evidence, you will need the actual boarding passes. Also photos together will help, but they are only secondary evidence. You do not need to include a lot of proof of relationship, such as skype logs, emails, fb, call logs, etc. Include a little bit, but not a huge lot of it.

I will suggest you visit this thread in the Regional forums: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/398847-colombianos-con-visa-k1-continuacion-6/page-394

It's in Spanish and is the Colombian's thread for the K-1 visa process. You will find a VAST amount of information and help here. Good luck in your journey!
