GOT IT!!!! GOT IT!!!! TOLD U LONG TIME AGO ITS CALLED SOMEWHERE IN TIME (ABOUT THE GRAND HOTEL)

One of my all-time favorites!! Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour did such a wonderful job in that movie. A couple of years ago I saw an anniversary special DVD and snatched it up immediately!!

For Christmas movies my all-time favorite would be It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart. There are many others I like, but I always look forward to seeing this one - and I also have it on DVD so I can catch it anytime.

Mine is either It's a wonderful life or White Christmas. Love watching the classic cartoons, How the Grinch stole christmas, Frosty the snowman and Rudolf.

they don't really make any good romantic comedy movies anymore :(

I am a sucker for a good romantic comedy.... guess which one is my favourite :whistle:

It's really hard to name one all-time movie as my favorite, but if I have to it would be Gone With the Wind....

Other categories:

Sci-Fi - Star Wars - tie between Episode 4 A New Beginning and 5 - The Empire Strikes Back

Musical - Singing in the Rain

Cartoon - Cinderella for classics- Beauty & The Beast for newer ones, although The Little Mermaid is right behind

Cult - Ladyhawke - this one goes right up there as one of my all-time favorites in any categories

And two others to mention....The Man from Snowy River and Return to Snowy River...I have always had a thing for Australia and Australian men....even though my fiancé is from India.....and he is aware of this fascination of mine....

I know there are many others that I love, but not necessarily an all-time favorite....I like all kinds of movies....chick flicks....action....comedies....etc., but right now I cannot necessarily think of my favorites with those.

Well....Cleopatra with Liz Taylor and Richard Burton...

and The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston (of course - who else is Moses? - lol)

and The Wizard of Oz....and in the newer stuff...

Body Heat with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt, but only because of this one line...
