Documents for I 864 Package

Hi there,

I have a pending petition in NBC right now and i am hoping to hear from them pretty soon. I was looking at the things i would need in the NVC phase so that i have all the things ready early on.

I am in the military right now and i ETS(end of time in service) on march, which means i am separating from the military.

Will it be a problem when providing documents for the affidavit of support?

I am afraid by the time i have to send the documents, i will be out of army and i wont have documents needed for the i 864 package like current job and pay stubs.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

The likelihood to be done and at interview before March is not happening. You will need a co-sponsor anyway. You must be employed at interview time.

Are you talking about the interview for my spouse in Nepal? I thought it was only in the NVC stage that i would need the documents for affidavit of support.

To my understanding, i would only need tax returns from last three years, which i am good. I will have spent 4 years in the army. What else would i need to show them in the NVC stage?? I can also show them my w2s and pay record from the army till march. Will they require any proof of employment after that since i am getting out of the army????
